The last step in the SCAMPI method is acting on objectives or follow-on activities.

SCAMPI stands for Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement. A SCAMPI assessment is led by an SEI Authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser. It is supported by the SCAMPI Product Suite which comprises of the SCAMPI Method Description, work aids, maturity questionnaire and templates.

The method defines the appraisal process as consisting of preparation; on-site activities; preliminary observations, findings, and ratings; final reporting; and follow-on activities.
