_______Your.. Answer...______

As we know ,

side of the cube = 5cm

Lateral surface area of the cube = 4a^2

so ,

Lateral surface area=

4 (5)^2

4 (25)

= 100 cm^2

Additional Information :

Lateral surface area is nothing but the area of the surface of the sides without including top and bottom sides.

But,

Total surface area is area of the surface of the sides with including top and bottom.

Correct answer:

option (ii) - 100cm^2

Hope this is useful..
