newland: he tried to see the periodicity of properties and stated his law of octaves as " When elements are arranged in the increasing order of their atomic weights every eight element has properties similar to their first" . He could arrange elements up to calcium only out of more than sixty elements then known.

doberneir: he grouped elements into triads. The atomic mass and properties of the middle element were mean of the other two. He could group only a few elements into triads. For example (1.) Li, Na and K (2.) Ca, Sr and Ba (3.) Cl, Br and I

kumarsinghaditya849: see according to newlands every eighth element have the similar of first element
kumarsinghaditya849: and according to dobereiner when we combine 1 and 3 element we get similar to 2nd one
kumarsinghaditya849: i hope u understand
richa2919: yes now i m understand

1) law of dobereiner was that the sum of atomic mass of first and third element will be equal to the atomic mass of second element.
like : lithium , sodium, potassium
2)law of newland was that the properties of first element will be similar to that of the eight element.
