Answer:

1mif we start counting from 0 t0 soon in the scalerule it can count the least count as 1mm.for example, if we consider 30cm scale the least count of it is 1mm=1division I. e. 1cm=10mm,so for cm we have 10 divisions each division count as 1mm.
