What is the least number by which 16,800 must be divided to get a number which is a perfect square? (a) 42 (b) 24 (c) 21 (d) 40?

Answer is 42 as all other answers don't give perfect squares

Factors of 16800 = 2^5 * 5^2 * 3 *7  

Now if we take away one 2 , one 3 and one 7 then it will become a perfect square.

So the number is 42 by which 16,800 must be divided to get a perfect square

7 x 3 x 2 = 42
