Answer:

150 bananas

Step-by-step explanation:

From my understanding of the question he has 50 students in total. He should have 50 bananas or any multiple of 50 depending on how many bananas he wants to give to the students.

That means 50 bananas=1 per student then 100 bananas= 2 per student.

OR

If the question needs 3 different amounts he will need a multiple of 15 for 15 students

A multiple of 10 for 10 students and a multiple of 25 for 25 students

or in other words

prime factors of:

  • 10 = 2 x 5
  • 15 = 5 x 3
  • 25 = 5 x 5

the other factors also should be included as well, so, we take the highest power of each factor. ie, 2¹ x 3¹ x 5²

their product is the LCM

2 x 3 x 5 x 5 = 150.

so, the teacher must have 150 bananas for there to be no banana left with with him.
