What is the least number of cuts required to cut 16 identical sausages so that they can be shared equally among 24 people?

16/24=2/3
so 2 sausages should be divided among 3 people,so 1 cut in 1st sausage and 1cut in 2nd and so on.......
so 16cuts are required
