here's ur answer....
given:-
length of the floor=15.17m
breadth of the floor=9.43m
area=l×b
=15.17×9.43
=143.0531m²
we all know that the area of square is side×side.
let the slides of the square be 12m
therefore area=12×12
=144m²
it can't possible as the area of the floor is 143.0531
now let the length of the side be 11.9m
area=11.9×11.9
=141.61m²
it's possible, it means the least no. of tile is one.
