To find the least number of square tiles

HCF of 1517 cm and 902 cm

We have

1517 = 902 × 1 + 615

902 = 615 × 1 + 287

615 = 287 × 2 + 41

287 = 41 × 7 + 0

HCF(1517,902) = 41

Side of square of tiles = 41

Least number of tiles = 1517 × 902 ÷ 41 × 41

= 814
