"The poem ' A Thing of Beauty ' is based on a Greek legend Endymion.
- Endymion, a beautiful young shepherd and poet who lived on Mount Latmos, had a vision of Cynthia, the Moon Goddess. The enchanted youth resolved to seek her out and so wandered away through the forest and down under the sea.
- In the poem, the poet John Keats describes many beautiful things. An object of beauty, in his opinion, is something that brings us happiness and stays with us for a long time.
- It never stops giving us life and a good night's sleep full of wonderful dreams. He has mentioned the sun, the moon, the ancient and young trees that provide shade to the plain sheep, and other beautiful things.
- Aside from them, the poet included daffodils in the green environment and clear rills of water that serve as a "cooling covert" for themselves during the hot season in his list of beautiful things.
