Solution:

Given ,

  • Time period of pendulum = 0.5 s

To find ,

  • Frequency

As we know that , frequency is inverse of time period.

In other form ;-

F = 1/t

Where

  • F → frequency
  • t → time

→ Frequency = 1/0.5

→ Frequency = 1/(1/2)

→ Frequency = 1 × 2

Frequency = 2 Hz

Note : Here , Hz is the unit of measuring frequency (Hz :- Hertz)

Hence, frequency of the pendulum = 2Hz or Hertz

Given ,

Time period (T) = 0.5 sec

As we know that , the reciprocal of time period is known as frequency

It is denoted by " F "

 \boxed{ \tt{Frequency  \: (F) =  \frac{1}{T} }}

The SI unit of frequency is hertz or 1/sec

Thus ,

F = 1/0.5

F = 10/5

F = 2 hertz

The frequency is 2 hz
