area = length × breadth

let length be x

4.5 = x × 1.5

x = 4.5 ÷ 1.5

x = 3..

hope this helps u...

\textbf{\underline{Answer :-}}

The Breadth of the Rectangle is 3m

\textbf{\underline{Explanation :-}}

\textsf{\underline{Given :-}}

Breadth of the Rectangle = 1.5 m

Area of the Rectangle = 4.5 sq m

\textsf{\underline{To find :-}}

The Length of the Rectangle

\textsf{\underline{Solution :-}}

Area of Rectangle =

\tt{\implies \: length \times breadth}

Consider Length as x

\tt{\implies \: x \times 1.5 \ = 4.5}

\tt{\implies \: x =  \dfrac{4.5}{1.5} }

Convert decimal into a number

\tt{\implies \: x =  \dfrac{4.5 \times 10}{1.5 \times 10} }

\tt{\implies \: x =  \dfrac{45}{15} }

\tt{\implies \: x \:  = 3}

\thereforeThe Length of the Rectangle is 3 m

Verification :-

\tt{\implies \: 3 \times 1.5 = 4.5}

\tt{\implies4.5 = 4.5}

\thereforeThe Breadth of the Rectangle is 3m
