\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer :- }}}

The altitude of the triangle is 7 cm.

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}

Given :

Area of the triangle = 21 sq.cm

Base of the triangle = 6 cm

To find :

The Length of the altitude of the triangle

Solution :

As we know :

\star Area of triangle :

{\boxed{\sf\:{Area =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times base \times height}}}

\sf{\implies \: 21 \:  sq.cm \: =  \dfrac{1}{2} \times6 \times x }

\sf{\implies21 = 3 \times x}

\sf{\implies3x = 21}

\sf{\implies \: x =  \dfrac{21}{3} }

\sf{\implies \: x = 7}

{\boxed{\bigstar{\sf\:{Height = 7 \: cm}}}}

\thereforeThe altitude of the triangle is 7 cm.

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Verification :-}}}

\sf{\implies \: 21 \:  sq.cm \: =  \dfrac{1}{2} \times6 \times 7 }

\sf{\implies \: 21 \:\: =  7 \times 3}

\sf{\implies \: 21  = 21 }

When we placed the value of x (7) we got the required answer 21.

{\boxed{\sf\:{LHS = RHS}}}

\thereforeThe altitude of the triangle is 7 cm.

Answer is here for u mate !!!

The altitude is

Wondering how ??? Explanation is here mate !!!!

Area = ½ × b × h

21 = ½ × 6 × h

21 = 3h

h = 21 ÷ 3

h = 7

Altitude = 7 cm
