see...the length of the outer box is 25 and the thickness of border is 5m from each side...so just subtract that 5m from both sides...then you will get the length of building...hope it will help you

To find the length of the building we need the subtract the width of the border from the outer rectangle.
That is,
25 - 5 - 5 = 15 cm
We subtracted 5 two times because we had to subtract the width of border from both the sides....
