Question :- What is the length of diameter of circle with area 314 sqcm? ( take = 3.14)

1️⃣ 10 cm

2️⃣ 20 sqcm

3️⃣ 20 cm

4️⃣ 10 sqcm

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Radius = (Diameter/2)
  • Area of circle = π * (radius)²
  • π = 3.14 (given)

so,

→ Area of circle = 314 cm²

→ π * (radius)² = 314

→ 3.14 * (radius)² = 314

→ (radius)² = 314 / 3.14

→ (radius)² = (314 * 100) / 314

→ (radius)² = 100

→ (radius)² = 10²

→ radius = 10 cm.

therefore,

→ Diameter = 2 * radius = 2 * 10 = 20 cm (C) (Ans.)
