What is the length of each side of an equilateral triangle having an area of 4v3cm.​

Given :-

Area of equilateral triangle is 4\sqrt{3} cm

To find :-

Side of an equilateral triangle

Solution :-

Area of equilateral triangle = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4} a^2

4\sqrt{3} = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4} a^2

{4} = \dfrac{1}{4} a^2

{4\times4 =a^2}

{4^2 = a^2}

{a= \pm 4}

Length cannot be negative So,

a = 4cm
