What is the length of tangent which is drawn from an external point 13 cm away from a center of a circle of radius 5 cm​

According to the question,

OA = 13cm

OB (radius) = 5cm

Using pythagoras theorem,

OA2 + OB2 = AB2

169 + 25 = AB2

AB = 14 (APPROX)
