What is the length of the largest pole that can be placed in a hall of 10m long 10m wide and 5 m high?

Dimensions of the hall are,

Length = l = 10m

Breadth = b = 10 m

Height = h = 5 m

Length of the largest pole =

√ ( l² + b² + h² )

=> √ ( 10² + 10² + 5² )

=> √ ( 100 + 100 + 25 )

=> √ 225

=> √ 15²

=> 15 m✔✔✅✔✔

longest pole = diagonal.

So d = (10²+10²+5²)½
= 225½
= 15m.
