in a rhombus all sides are equal
it is a quadrilateral
therfore let a side be x and all 4 sides will be x
i.e , x+x+x+x=4x

4x=48
x=48/4
x=12

Acc. to properties of a rhombus, all sides are equal in it........ So, let the sides be x, since it has 4 sides , so total sides = 4 × x = 4x............ Perimeter = sum of all sides = 48 cm ( given )........ 4x = 48........ x = 48/4 = 12........ x = 12 cm..... So each side of rhombus = 12 cm.
