what is the lens of mirror

Lens is the one which refracts light and mirror reflects the light. In order to impose the picture over a specified screen( image sensor) in proper aspect ratio with minimized chromatic aberration, lenses are used. But mirrors are used in viewfinder (only basic slr's)to reflect the image frm lens to viewfinder.
