Limitation of Coulomb's Law.Coulomb's law is valid, if the average number of solvent molecules between the two interesting charge particles should be large. Coulomb's law is valid, if the point charges are at rest. It is difficult to apply theCoulomb's lawwhen the charges are in arbitrary shape.

force can be attractive or repulsive in nature in coulomb's law .If two charges are same like positive positive then it is repulsive in nature
but if there both charges are different then they are attractive in nature.
