Linear Equation

The expression of the form ax + b, where a and b is the real number and a ≠ 0, is a linear polynomial equation involving only linear polynomial are called as linear equations.

Properties of Linear Equation

  • If the same number is multiplied to both the sides of the equation, the equality remains the same.
  • If the same number is added to the both sides of equation, the equality remains the same.
  • If the same number is subtracted to the both sides of equation, the equality remains the same.
