Hi friend!!

Liver is an essential organ in our body!!
In fact it is the largest gland in the human body..
It is located below the diaphragm in the right upper quadrant of the abdominal cavity...
The liver is responsible for performing the vital life-sustaining functions such as:
*Production of bile juice
*Blood detoxification and purification
*looks after the metabolism of gycogen, fats etc. and also helps in excreting the wastes..
*It also stimulates the secretion of pantcreatic juices and enzymes
Etc....

Hope that clears your doubt!!
