Given - Weight of (NH4)2SO4 : 245 gram

Volume of solution : 1 litre

Find - M or molarity of (NH4)2SO4

Solution - Molarity is calculated by the help of formula - number of moles of solute/volume of solution in litres. Number of moles are further calculated by formula - weight / molecular weight.

Molecular weight of (NH4)2SO4 : 132.14 gram/mol

Keeping the values in formula-

M = (245/132.14)/1

M = 1.85 M

Hence, the molarity is 1.85 M.
