What is the magnitude of current flowing through wire AB?

Total resistance in upper wire=12+6 =18ohm
Similarly total resistance in lower wire=18 ohm
V= 80V
Now these two are in parallel combination then
Total resistance in the circuit 18*18/18+18
Total resistance =324/36 =36 ohm
Now I=V/R
I=80/36 = 2.222 amperes
