Pressure= Force/area

Pressure*area = Force (transposition)

Area is equal to 200 cm^2 = 0.02 m^2( 200/100*100)

Pressure = 27500 Pa.

Then the force = 0.02*27500=550N

Hope it helps!

Given - Pressure and area

Find - Force

Solution - The magnitude of force required is 550 Newton.

Pressure, force and area are related to each other as -

Pressure = Force/Area

1 Pascal = 1 Newton/metre²

Converting area in metres

200 centimetre² = 0.02 metre²

Keep the values in the formula to find the magnitude of force.

Force = 27500*0.02

Force = 550 Newton

Thus, the magnitude of force required is 550 Newton.
