what is the magnitude of the gravitational force between the earth and 1 kg object on it surface? (Mass of earth is 6*10^24kg and radius of the earth is 6.4*10^6 metre.

radius of earth = 6.4*10⁶ metre

G = 6.67259 x 10⁻¹¹ N m²/kg²

F= G.m1.m2/r²

=> 6.67259 x 10⁻¹¹ x 1 x 6*10²⁴ /(6.4*10⁶)²

=> 40.03554 x 10¹³ /(40.96 x 10¹²)

=> 0.97743017578125 x 10

=> 9.7743017578125
