Since, the initial velocity of the car given in the question is zero and the final velocity is given as 60 m/s in the time of 0.8 seconds. So, on applying Newton's first law of motion v=u+at.

60=0+a*8 on solving we will get the value of acceleration to be 15/2 m/s^2. So, the force on a driver by the racing car will be F=ma or F=80*15/2 which on solving we will get the force exerted in the horizontal to be  600N and the vertical exertion of the force is 80*10=800N.

So, the magnitude of total force is √(600^2 +800^2) which will be 1000N or 1KN.
