Population explosion means increasing the population at a rapid rate.

During 19th century the world population is about 1 billion and in 2010 it is about 7 billion , which is explosion in the growth of human population on earth.

The main cause is increasing birth rate and decreased Death rate.

Decreased birth rate is due to the modern technologies.Now doctors have the cure of disease like cancer.

During the industrial revolution people start gaining education in 19th century ,and this cause a reduction in death rate.

The causes of population explosion are:

Poverty and Lack of Education:

• Due to poverty among the majority of the people focus is less on the education of their off-springs and generally half of them end up in day labor leading to loss of sex education or childbirth control knowledge.
• Failure in contraception is one of the major obstacles in preventing population among the poor and backward population leading to a population boom in the rural areas leading to migration in the cities which increases the population of that particular city.
