The main causes for high pressure belt of earth....

This is due to the spherical shape of the Earth - different parts of the Earth are heated unevenly.  Due to the spherical shape of the Earth, the pressure belts are formed as the air is heated and cooled in different places and at different magnitudes due to the difference in the heat of the sun's rays on the surface of the Earth. In high pressure belt areas, air always descends from above, due to which the pressure of air increases.

Presence of the ITCZ and the rays of sun.

Explanation:

  • The equatorial area that gets direct sun rays is heated up quickly and remains warm throughout the year. This causes the air at the equator to rose above the horizon and create a low pressure or a calm wind that is said to be the region of doldrums.
  • Due to the cold winds are attracted to the areas of low pressure there are heat exchanges that takes place by the wind that comes from the subtropical latitudes that the place where the equatorial air current descends ad is known by the horse latitudes.
  • The high pressure is also found along with the polar areas due to the cod and denser air settles on the surface and it heavy thus creating high pressure and these are impacted by the rotation of the earth.
