i. Biogas is an example of eco-friendly technology.
ii. A biogas plant consists of a digester,dome-shaped gas holder,inlet pipe,outlet pipe,gas pipe etc.
iii. Organic waste from agriculture like crop waste,animal dung is put in a biogas digester throught the inlet pipe.
iv. Micro-organisms decompose this waste in the digester.
v. slurry is taken out from the digester using the outlet pipe.
vi. Decomposition of waste results in production of biogas which is stored in dome-shaped gas holder and then supplied to various plases using gas pipe.
vii.  Advantages: biogas is a good fuel.
                             slurry is used as fertilizer for crops.
                             it is eco-friendly.
