I hope your answer is here.

Per Capita Income is the main criterion used by the World Bank in classifying different countries. The limitation of this criterion are: * It doesn't show distribution of income.

* It also ignores other factors such as infant mortality rate, literacy level, healthcare, etc.

the criteria used by the world Bank is PER CAPITA INCOME

IT'S LIMITATIONS:

  1. it hides the disparities
  2. it is not an exact measure for development
  3. it hides many aspects such as poverty, health facilities, literacy etc

HENCE IT IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE CRITERIA. THE CORRECT CRITERIA IS CONSIDERING OTHER ASPECTS SUCH AS HEALTH, LITERACY,ALONG WITH percapita income.this criteria is used by UNDP

hope it helps u BUDDY:)
