Average income or Per capita income is the main criteria used by the World Bank in classifying different countries.
Limitations Of Average income are :-
1) While average income is useful for comparison, it doesn't tell us how this income is distributed among people.
2) Some may be very rich but the masses may be poor. In this way , it hides disparities.
