Sketch is a freehand drawing which is never treated as a finished work. You always practice and thinking for your sketching to make your drawing or sketch look attractive or we can say that more realistic while Map is representation of an area in visual form, it may be real or may be imaginary .

1. a map is drawn to scale while sketch is a rough drawing
2. a map of smaller or bigger space can be drawn on a piece of paper while we draw a sketch of only small area.
3. a map has much more accuracy than a sketch.
4. a map gives much more details of a place while sketch can not.
