Darwin proposed the theory of natural selection where he said that changes occur due to mutation and and the nature selects that who is fit to survive. It is known as the theory of natural selection

Jean Baptiste Lamark proposed that the characteristics acquired by an animal in its lifetime are carried on to the next generation. He gave the examples of giraffes

But Lamarkism is wrong as acquired characteristics don't make genetic changes.

I hope this helps and mark me as the brainliest if you like the answer

Darwinism means the theory stated by Charles Darwin I.e

= In nature only fit organisms can survive there, perish(die).

He concluded hi theory in his book I.e. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Lamarkism mean the theory stated by Jean Baptiste Lamarck I.e

=The evolution is totally dependant on the activities

done by specific organism species for many years.

Ex.the neck of giraffe is extended due to browsing on

long tree leaves for many years.
