so 4 and 18 are multiples of 2.

A factor is a number that can completely divide the given number.

Example

2 has only 2 factors which are 1 and 2 so lets take another number, say 10

so the factors of 10 are

10/5=2

10/2=5

10/10=1

10/1=10

so 5,2,10 and 1 are factors of 10.
