Schottky defect and Frenkel defect are two types of point defectsfound in crystal lattices. The main difference between Schottky defect and Frenkel defect is that Schottky defect reduces the density of the crystal whereas Frenkel defect does not have any impact on the density of the crystal........#MB

1) Frenkel defect :
this defect is usually shown by ionic solids , the ions that is smaller in size is dislocated from its normal site to an interstitial site. frenkel defect is also called as dislocation defect. it does not change the density of the solid.
example : AgI, Agcl.
Schottky defect :
the number of missing cations and anions are equal. it is basically a vacancy defect.
it decreases the density of the substance.
example : KCl, NaCl.
