Composite fish farming refers to the practice of rearing different types of fishes together. Some of the disadvantages are
1. Large quantities of fish in a limited space leads to over crowding. It may lead to higher fish mortality and which in turn may cause pollution
2. Different types of feeds are required in this type of farming. Hence it may be costlier
3. The breeding seasons of different fishes are during different seasons, however most of them do so only in Monsoons.
