the main function of roots is to absorb water and minerals from the soil for the plant as they can penetrate deep into yhe soil. the flower is the reproductive part in a plant and also helps in pollination and cross fertilisation as it is colourful and attracts insects. the stem is the supporting part of the plant it is also known as the trunk. it has vascular tissues which help in the transportation on food, water and minerals to all the parts of th plants

roots:
1.roots fix the plants to soil.
2.roots absorb water and mineral salts from the soil which are then conducted upwards to the stem and leaves.
3.roots help in holding the soil together,thus,preventing erosion or blowing away of the soil.
 4.in some plants , roots are modifies to perform additional function of storage, support, respiration.

flower:
1.role in reproduction and multiplication.
2.ornamental value
3.source of food

stem:
1.a stem bears the leaves,flowers,fruits.it serves as a link between the roots,the leaves and flowers.
2.when young,it is green and manufactures food through the process photosynthesis.
3.it carries water and mineral salts from the roots to the leaves and flowers.
