The Black Man's Burden overall discussed how the coloured people at time were having problems in there own way and that they don't need the Europeans to spread their imperialistic thoughts to foreign countries.

The main idea of the poem " The Black Man's Burden " by Rudyard Kipling is to justify the colonizing of people seen to be inferior by prejudice and superiority.

The poem actually justifies the colonial rule of USA in Philippine Islands by arguing that God us put burden on the people of US to civilize the inferior and uncivilized people of Philippine Islands.
