• The state produced 49,903.1 thousand tonnes of food grains in 2016–17 and 51,252.7 thousand tonnes in 2017–18. Rice, wheat, maize, millet (bajra), gramme, pea, lentils, and maize are among the major food grains produced in the state.
• In 2017–18, the state produced 2,208.0 thousand tonnes of pulses. The state continued to be India's top vegetable producer in 2018–19, producing 1,002,64 thousand MT of vegetables.
