Narrow minded thinking of Society
From years there has been dominance of Man in society. They always treated like superiors. Reasons are that they can earn they can run house and many more. Womens were enslaved and considered inferiors. But then after many reforms the condition of women has changed.
They have stared to get an respectful position which were only be thought to be occupied by Mens.

Girl child is one of the major problems faced by this 21 st century bcoz of dowry...and the people thought that it is kind of weight in their life and they kill tht problem...

i have to correct you. The problems you have discussed in your answer were faced by women but nowadays condition of women have changed to a greater extent.
mad a girl will become a women then the parents hve to give dowry...so they r killing
