purpose of computer:-

〰️The purpose of the computer is to perform calculations, store information, retrieve data and process information. A computer has programmed data or computer language that tells the computer how to fulfill its purpose. The computer will only do what it is programmed to do.

Main components:-

〰️A computer has four main components: the central processing unit or CPU, the primary memory, input units and output units.

1) CPU ;- The CPU is the primary component of a computer that processes instructions. The CPU contains at least one processor, which is the actual chip inside the CPU that performs calculations.

2) Primary memory ;-computer memory that is accessed directly by the CPU. This includes several types of memory, such as the processor cache and system ROM. However, in most cases, primary memory refers to system RAM.
