D. has gone is the correct option.

Here this sentence, puts stress on the disappearing of the coffee mug, hence has gone id the main  verb.


Zaaranaaz: I think drink because verb means work so by drinking we are showing that we are busy with some work that we are drinking
tanikaray: No , as drink is not happening at the moment i mean it is a verb but not the main verb, And Has is a helping verb and gone is also verb so she is right :) and I'm too ;)
