2) Leptotene and Zygotene both are the parts of Prophase-I in meiosis.
Leptotene :- In leptotene choromosomes are condensed and the appear like thread. Chrosomal end face towards nucleolus and centrioles duplicates and moves toward opposite pole of the cell.
Zygotone :- Two homologous chromosomes come in contact (one maternal and one paternal chromosome) and form a pair of chromosome called as 'Synpasis'.
