what is the major difference between a solution and an ordinary mixture,?​

solution is homogeneous while ordinary mixture may be homogeneous or heterogeneous . Answer: solution is homogeneous mixture in which solute and solvent can not be seperate out like salt in water,sugar in water etc. while a mixture may contain any type of solute and solvent either they can be seperate or not.
