Ans. The major difference between autotrophic and heterotrophic nutrition is that the autotrophs can make their own food (glucose) by the process of photosynthesis ..
But heterotrophs are dependent on the autotrophs..Ex :- All plants (autrotrophs) can make their own food by the process of photosynthesis.. whereas animals like cow, Humans (heterotrophs) are all dependent on the plants ..Hope This Helps....
