Given :

  • Moles of Carbon dioxide = 0.2

  • Molecular mass of Carbon dioxide = 44

To find :

  • mass of carbon dioxide

Formula used :

n \:  =  \dfrac{mass }{molar \: mass}

where n = number of moles

Solution :

Moles of Carbon dioxide = 0.2

Molecular mass of Carbon dioxide = 44

 \implies \: n \:  =  \dfrac{mass }{molar \: mass}

 \implies 0.2  =  \dfrac{mass }{44}

\implies 0.2 \times 44  =  {mass }

\implies\dfrac{2}{10}  \times 44  =  {mass }

\implies  \dfrac{88}{10}  =  {mass }

\implies  8.8g  =  {mass }

Answer :

mass of carbon dioxide = 8.8 grams
