Given: Number of water molecules,  N = 4.82 x 10²⁵molecules

To Find : Mass of water , m .

Soluton:

To calcuate mass of water the formula used is-

Number of molecules = number of moles(n) x Avagardo's number(Nₐ)

here, n =mass of water(m)/ molecular mass of H2O(M)

N = (m/M)x Nₐ

M = 18grams and  Nₐ = 6.02x10²³molecules

Applying the above formula:

4.82 x 10²⁵ = ( m/ 18) x  6.02x10²³

4.82 x 10²⁵/  6.02x10²³= m/18

m/18 = (4.82 x 100)/ 6.02

m/18 = 0.80 x 100

m/18 = 80

m = 80x18

m = 1440grams.
