Given:

  • Force(f) = 200 N

  • Initial Velocity (u) =0 m/s

  • Final velocity (v) = 40 m/s

  • Time (t) = 10s

To Find:

  • Mass of the car=?

Solution:

: . v=u+at

: . 40=0+a×10

: . 40=10a

: . a=40/10

; . a=4 m/s²

Now,

Force (f) =mass ×acceleration

: . 200=mass× 4

: .mass= 200/4

: . mass = 50 kg

Therefore , The mass of the car is 50 kg

Given:-

  • Force exerted = 200N

  • Initial Velocity = 0m/s

  • Final Velocity = 40m/s

  • Time taken = 10s

To Find:-

  • Mass of the cart.

Formulae used:-

  • v = u + at
  • F = ma

Where,

  • v = Final Velocity
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • t = Time
  • F = Force
  • m = Mass

Now,

v = u + at

→ 40 = 0 + a × 10

→ 40 = 10a

→ a = 40/10

→ a = 4m/s²

Hence, The accceleration Produced by force is 4m/

Therefore,

→ F = ma

→ 200 = m × 4

→ 200 = 4m

→ m = 200/4

→ m = 50kg.

Hence, The mass of Cart is 50kg.
